Lauren is pursuing further training in Biblical Counselling through Christian Counselling Education Foundation (CCEF). Medicare rebates are possible for Australians in Australia with a referral as part of a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan.

| Cross Cultural Experience | Cross Cultural Experience: Lauren's experience living and working in the Northern Territory has given her experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and the refugee community, largely from Iran and Afghanistan. This experience has been gained through the counselling space, working in an AOD rehabilitation and volunteering through a detention visitors scheme and soccer. Lauren has also spent four months living and working in El Salvador in a mission's organisation with a homeless drop-in centre and AOD rehabilitation for young men. She worked alongside the organisation assisting with program development, program delivery, relationship building and gospel proclamation. |
