Transition Training for Remote Indigenous Ministries (T-TRIM) 2026
T-TRIM trains Christians, wanting to work with Aboriginal Australians. Also good professional development for Christians already serving on the field.
We recommend:
• Completing the whole course (about 10 days) over two blocks.
• For an introduction and limited time to do the first unit, ‘Working with Aboriginal Australians’ + Taster (3 days).
• Only under special circumstances you can apply to attend Health /&/or Security training days without the introduction unit. Security day is based on Missions Intelrink’s MAST course. This course is based on Missions Interlink Transition Training course. Facilitators from various mission agencies have worked together to adapt this course for Aboriginal Australian Remote context.
• These missions have worked to put this course together: Coordinate, Wycliffe, Pioneers, Nungalinya, Youth With A Mission Darwin and World Outreach.
Kids Program (January 2026)
We will also be running a kids program to help them in their transition to cross-cultural ministry. The program will be led by Missions Interlink’s Child Safe and Third Culture Kids Coordinator, Kath Williams. For more information, please contact Rachel Borneman, nt@missionsinterlink.org.au.
