Essentials to Be an Effective Visiting Speaker
Are you ready to be more effective as a visiting speaker?
Preaching in your own congregation is one thing—but speaking to a new audience presents a different challenge.
Being an effective visiting speaker is often more complex, but many visiting speakers are unsure of the required adjustments to have a lasting impact.
What we learnt about preaching at Bible college assumes the audience knows us. As a stranger, in 30 minutes or less, you must connect meaningfully with your audience's heart, mind and spirit and earn their trust. Then, inspire and inform Biblically, and call to action unapologetically, but without manipulation.
How would you rate your effectiveness as a visiting speaker?
Are you ready to improve so that your audience can connect with Jesus and hear Him speak through you?
Join me in exploring the unique approaches and skills a visiting speaker must adopt to be effective.
