This Missions Interlink event is presented in partnership with ICCM (International Conference on Computing and Mission) Australia. It is intended for people working with technology in Christian mission, be they business managers, novices, or technical specialists. The purpose is to provide a forum to meet, share ideas, opportunities, experiences, information and expertise, so that everyone can effectively use their God-given gifts and skills in His service.
The conference will start at 2pm on Tuesday, with registrations open from 12 noon. Attendees are encouraged to get lunch together in nearby cafes. It will finish by noon on Thursday, and again attendees are encouraged to go to lunch together in nearby cafes.
Bernard Wong has agreed to speak about the cloud for ministry, especially from the perspective of a Board member.
Bernard is heavily involved in Christian ministry, and is a great strategic thinker and communicator. Your business manager is going to want to hear him!
Apart from Keynote sessions we will have a mix of technical and management sessions from David Miller and David Nolan, Sam Wighton, and a few more.
Extra Accommodation: Any pre or post conference accommodation needs to be organised direct with the venue. Note that payment for conference accommodation will be made as part of your registration.
Meals: Off site and day regos include Tuesday dinner, Wednesday lunch and dinner, and Thursday – no meals. Onsite includes Tuesday dinner, Wednesday all meals, and Thursday breakfast.
