This one day training programme for those who would like to take a fresh look at what it means for the local church to be the “sender” for cross-cultural workers and to provide effective member care.

Topics include: The Exciting World of God’s Mission; The Local Church and Global Mission; All About Culture; Mission Agencies and the Local Church; Member Care; Team Dynamics; Relief & Development and the Gospel; Training for Cross-Cultural Workers; Practical Issues; Raising Support; Crisis Management; Re-entry and De-briefing.

4pm – 6pm. Includes debrief/reflections
We are encouraging all participants in this training course to also attend the Indonesian Service conducted at Westminster Presbyterian Church on Sunday afternoon as a valid and helpful cross-cultural experience.
