Building Resilience in Kids

Building Resilience in Kids

| Pioneers

Raising kids cross-culturally and in constant transition brings with it many extra challenges on top of the normal wrestles parents face. This seminar will seek to provide member care providers with a range of approaches to helping parents of TCKs raise resilient kids.

We’ll discuss developmental theory, frameworks for encouraging families to be grounded even in transience and ideas about solving some of the problems that invariably arise. With discussion and activities interspersed throughout we’ll be sharing knowledge and laying some groundwork to help us care better for the smallest and sometimes overlooked members of our missionary communities
