About Us
Missions Interlink is a network of Australian mission agencies, Bible colleges, churches, support services, and individuals serving Christ and engaging in cross-cultural and global mission.
OUR VISION
Australian churches and organisations actively engaged together in effective cross-cultural and global mission for Christ's glory.
OUR MISSION
Empowered by Christ, Missions Interlink seeks to be a growing and vibrant hub linking, equipping, serving, inspiring, and representing organisations and churches across Australia as they engage in cross-cultural and global mission together.
We do this for mutual benefit and encouragement by:
- Connecting members nationally, regionally, and internationally through information sharing, events, and common-interest networks.
- Providing ministries, resources and information through our members to support and promote cross-cultural and global mission.
- Representing members on matters of common interest and concern.
- Exploring key mission issues, trends and ways of working together.
- Promoting and facilitating best practice, prayer, and unity.
- Seeking God's will and ways to complete His agenda on earth.

The Basis for the Network
MI Members ascribe to the EA Statement of Faith and abide by the MI Regulations and Standards Statement.
History of the Network
Missions Interlink was established in 1986 at a national forum of evangelical missions in Canberra. It was considered expedient, conformable to the will of God, expressive of discipleship to the Lord Jesus Christ, and a step towards facilitating fulfilment of His great Commission, to constitute an Australian Commission of evangelical missions.
However, state missions commissions had existed in most states for many years, and until 2005 continued to maintain their own identities and separate memberships, and were regarded as member agencies of the national body in their own right.
How Missions Interlink is Organised
The national office of Missions Interlink is responsible for all membership enquiries, national events, networks and ministries, and is a central point for information and resources for its members.
The state networks of MI are also very active, providing members within each state with regular opportunities to network, and pray for, and encourage each other . They are also engaged in working together to promote and mobilise for mission through collaborative activities.
